A most elegant Hosta, 'Purple Haze' produces lots of blue-green heart-shaped leaves suffused with dusky purple at their base on purple stems. Great for a partially shaded spot, this Hosta can also cope with more sun than most, growing well in any good soil.
Capitalise on its strong architectural form by using it as a focus plant for a container display. For added textural interest combine its strong leaf shape with delicate ferns and other shade loving plants such as Heucherella 'Kimono'.
