Hakonechloa is a 'go-to' grass for many designers and landscapers for its tumbling form and ability to grow in a variety of light conditions from partial shade to sun, thriving in a damp, free draining, humus rich soil.

'Naomi' is a recent introduction which stands out for its colour.  With creamy white and green variegated foliage in spring and summer, it is transformed in autumn by the onset of cooler weather, developing reddish-plum tints that strengthen as the thermometer drops.

Perfect for adding colour, texture and movement to a fairly shady area, 'Naomi' also remains upright through winter providing valuable structure in the garden.  Easy to grow and ever so useful for edging paths and beds, it makes quite a statement in a planter frothing over the edge.
