'Warden Hybrid' bears very fragrant, bright magenta-purple semi double flowers with darker centres. These contrast beautifully with its cushion-like narrow blue-green foliage. This compact and traditional variety of Pink produces flowers all summer long with regular deadheading.
It has perennial foliage which is useful throughout the year as a foil to surrounding plants. Ideal for a rockery, trough or as a border to a path - plant it where you can best appreciate its colour combination and delicious scent. This Dianthus will appreciate a full sun position in a fertile, well-drained soil that is neutral to alkaline.
