Content : Bundles of 10 in the green plants, ideal for naturalising
Height x Spread: 20cm x 15cm
A very large flowering form of the 'giant' snowdrop, 'Helen Tomlinson' has an outer skirt of pure white spoon-like petals over shorter inner segments delicately marked with a green 'v'. A fast-growing clumping perennial, each of the stems bears just one nodding flower of wide, strap-like grey-blue foliage. Fragrant.
This delightful snow drop will create impact in a shady area of the garden, its blooms shining out of the late winter gloom. It looks equally lovely when naturalised in grass, through a deciduous woodland or framed in a rock garden. It thrives in any reasonably rich and fertile, free draining soil that stays moist all year round, especially through the summer, in partial shade to a more sunny site.
Harmful if eaten.
