'Apple Blossom' is one of the most elegant and delicately coloured candelabra primulae available to gardeners. Flowering in early summer, it carries tiers of graceful palest pink flowers each with a reddish eye that radiate spoke-like from a central upright stem high above neat rosettes of slightly wrinkled fresh green foliage.
A wonderful addition to a bog garden or lining the edge of a stream, it needs a deep and nutrient rich, moisture retentive soil with some free drainage plus a sunny or partially shaded site to thrive. It combines particularly well with Lychnis flos-cuculi 'White Robin', Rodgersia pinnata 'Chocolate Wing' and Persicaria amplexicaulis ' J S Caliente'.
