Height x Spread: 80cm x 90cm

Ever so pretty and gently rumpled, with layers upon layers of ruffled creamy white petals and a light scent, 'Bowl of Cream's' flowers cannot help but draw the eye if only for their size.  Larger than most herbaceous paeony flowers, they can reach 25cm across delivering impact and flamboyance in equal measures.

This cottage garden stalwart is also perfect for picking with blooms lasting up to a week in water and adding old-fashioned romance to a bouquet.  Once the early summer showstopping floral display is over, use its attractive deeply cut foliage to display later flowering perennials to their best advantage even into autumn when the leaves take on seasonal hues.  To thrive it needs sun but can tolerate light shade and a fertile, moist but free draining soil.

Paeony is harmful if eaten
