'Stillingfleet Meg' was discovered in Stillingfleet Gardens, York and named after the owner's eldest daughter. In spring a carpet of narrow dark green leaves speckled with silver spots appears beneath pink flowers, that mature to a light blue.

Lungwort is quite happy growing in any reasonable soil and is often used in light woodland as it thrives in dappled shade. It provides fantastic ground cover which can be used on banks and slopes, beds and borders or alongside walkways. Shearing the leaves back after flowering will encourage a fresh burst of foliage growth.
