An unusual form of Lungwort, 'Rosy's Mum' stands out not only for its attractive mounds of flattish green spear-like leaves liberally sprinkled with silver, but also the clusters of large dusky pink and mid-blue bell-like flowers that appear in late winter and early spring looking upwards to catch your eye.

Tough and hardy, it was discovered in Rosy's Mum's garden in North Yorkshire, happily thriving in dappled shade but can cope with lower light levels too.  In common with other Pulmonaria its preference for a humus-rich, moist soil make it ideal for a woodland setting, but can be exploited to cloak damp slopes and banks, or smother weeds as groundcover.
