Just like the other Wish series Salvias, Salvia 'Kisses and Wishes' does best in a warm and sunny position. It makes a great plant for growing in a container, either on its own or with companion planting. Or you can put it in a sunny border. It is hardy to 0 Celsius, so it needs a little protection in the winter if you want to keep it from year to year. It will flower continuously from May to October and is really popular with bees - so you could plant Kisses and Wishes to help our pollinator friends!
New for 2018 & Launched by Hardy's at RHS Chelsea 2018 - This Salvia was discovered as a mutation from Salvia ‘Wendy’s Wish’ by Sarah Jane Knott of Southwater near Horsham in 2015. Sarah gave propagation material to Graham Spencer of Plants For Europe and Dyson's nurseries undertook trials of the plant soon after.
"We have been very impressed by both its stability and distinct colour, which can best be described as rose-pink. It combines beautifully with ‘Wendy’s Wish’ and ‘Love and Wishes’ and is sure to be a bestseller! Our friends Rosy and Rob Hardy of Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants will be launching it at Chelsea this year " Dyson's Nursery
