Despite its petite scale, 'Thundercloud' captures the eye with its neatly packed mounds of blue-grey finely cut leaves, from which short stems carrying dense clusters of small white nectar rich flowers - each with a hint of soft pink - erupt in late summer.
Showcase its unusual form by planting it in groups for striking structure in a hot and sunny gravel garden or as rounded edging to a path, its seedheads providing interest long in winter. Needing fertile, free draining soil to flourish, if you garden on heavier moister soils, do not despair. This veritable bee and butterfly magnet makes a fine container plant.
