The cottage garden classic is quick and easy to grow and a wonderful cut flower. 'Florence Blue' is a compact selection which grows well in border or containers, with blooms of lovely clear blue. Hardy annual.

March - May or August - September (to overwinter and flower the following Summer)
WHERE:
Outdoors - sow directly into borders or containers. Dislikes root disturbance
HOW:
Prepare soil or compost and water before sowing. Sow thinly and cover seed to a depth of 0.5cm. Thin seedlings to about 15cm apart. Successional sowing every few weeks will give a long display of colour.
