With its unusual shaped white fragrant flowers this is often known as the Spider flower. They prefer full sun and well drained soil. Regular dead heading helps for a continuation of flowers. A quite bushy habit means they do not need support unless in a windy site. Half hardy annual.

Put seed packet into fridge for 1 week before sowing. Moisten compost before sowing. They need light for germination so sow seeds on the surface and do not cover. Fluctuating temperatures help e.g. cold nights and warm greenhouse days. Must be kept moist. When 2 leaves show prick out into trays 4-5cm apart or single pots
