Indoors - in seed trays or pots in warm greenhouse or similar.
Outdoors - Sow where they are to flower.
Indoors - Moisten compost before sowing. Sow thinly and cover lightly with compost or vermiculite. Keep moist. When 2 leaves show prick out into trays 4-5cm apart or single pots.
Outdoors - Clean and prepare the seed bed to a fine crumbly soil. Water prior to sowing. Sow or scatter the seeds, then rake into soil and firm gently.
June onwards, 70-80 days from sowing. Regular dead heading will prolong garden performance and keep plants more bushy.
