'Mrs Robert Brydon' is a deciduous herbaceous Clematis, which does not cling-on or climb. It displays delicate pale lilac-blue, scented flowers from July until September followed by attractive fluffy seed heads.
A versatile plant, you can either allow its long stems to grow and form very attractive ground cover beneath trees and shrubs, or perhaps tie them to plant supports like obelisks and giant hoops to create bold floral structures within your mixed flower beds and borders.
It will happily grow in either full sun or partial shade in any good, moderately moist soil.
