Height x Spread: 100cm x 75cm
This bold, architectural perennial combines broad palm-like green leaves, leather-like and wrinkled with a distinctive saw-tooth edge, with dainty clusters of small cream or pale pink flowers in summer.
It needs a sunny or partially shaded site in a nutrient-rich, damp soil that does not dry out in summer to thrive. This makes it a great choice for a moist border or bog garden, its pale flowers helping to illuminate more shadowy areas whilst adding depth and a contrast of textures. Pollinators love it too. Easy to grow, overlarge clumps respond well to division in spring.
