Commonly known as Russian Sage, ‘Blue Spire’ is a bushy deciduous sub-shrub. In late summer, small blue tubular flowers smother upright silvery stems above aromatic, divided grey-green foliage — a spectacular combination in a hot, sunny border.
Thrives in well-drained soil in full sun; ideal for gravel gardens and coastal locations. Dislikes winter wet.
