Ordering plants online.

We accept online orders from mainland GB along with the Isle of Wight. We do not accept orders from Northern Ireland, follow this link for our full shipping policy.

Talks & Workshops

Throughout the gardening year we hold seasonal talks at the nursery. Rosy picks her favourite perennials from the nursery and talks about their attributes - how best to grow them,  combine them with other plants to create great planting combinations and how to avoid common pitfalls.

We also invite you to join Rosy Hardy here at the nursery for one or all of her hands on, practical propagation workshops. Rosy covers a variety of methods to propagate herbaceous perennials.

These workshops are aimed at beginner and more experienced gardeners who wish to learn the basic principles and practices associated with plant propagation in a relaxed and friendly environment. Book Now.

Trade enquiries

As well as providing plants to the public, we work with many professional gardeners, garden designers and landscape contractors and we warmly welcome trade enquiries

We really enjoy working with our trade customers, getting to know you, understanding what you need and how we can help.

We aim to be approachable, responsive and easy to work with. To help you, we offer a year round cash and carry service from the nursery, but are also happy to collate your orders with a bit of notice. Apologies, but during our main show season, May to July, deliveries by van can be very limited, but do talk to us and we will try to help.  Alternatively we can deliver by overnight courier.

We issue regular 'Current Lines' lists to help you plan future projects and aim to turn around quotations within three working days.

Working on an eco-sensitive project?  Please be rest assured, we grow our perennials in a totally peat-free medium from Melcourt.  As a result head gardeners from National Trust properties have become regular clients.

For full Trade Terms and Conditions, please contact us.  Or even better, pop in and visit, we would love to show you around.

Plants for Show Gardens

Over the last twenty years, we have been chuffed to bits to work with some great garden designers, supplying them with plant material that went on to be showcased in their gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Flower Show, plus of course, our very own Rosy Hardy's 'Forever Freefolk' show garden in 2016.

Many have become good friends and repeat customers.
