Veronicastrum virginicum 'Diane'
Height x Spread: 150cm x 60cm
'Diane' has pure white, slender flower spikes which appear during late summer and last well into the autumn. The dark green, lance-shaped foliage forms whorls around tall erect stems.
This Veronicastrum virginicum, commonly know as Culver's Root, is best planted towards the back of your borders or flower beds, where it will add some height during the autumn period. Any reasonably good soil is ideal, however ensure that you keep the plant moist during dry summers. Old flowering stems can be left standing to add winter structure and interest. Division can be carried out during the spring.
