A carpet of pure white crocuses is a beautiful sight in early spring. These have large goblet -like flowers standing proudly above narrow strappy green leaves. Perfect for naturalising in grass, we love them planted below deciduous trees creating a circular sea of spring colour. Alternatively showcase their delicacy in planters; they are great for the top layer of a bulb lasagne. Best in well-drained soil that has some richness.
