Hosta (Tardiana Group) 'Eric Smith'
Height x Spread: 50cm x 50cm
Rounded heart-shaped leaves are green/blue in colour with white-lavender lily like flowers blooming on erect stems. 'Eric Smith' was created from a cross between Hosta tardiflora and Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans'.
This clump-forming perennial is great for shade or partial shade, it will tolerate sun if the soil stays damp throughout the summer, woodland gardens, under-planting of shrubs or growing in containers are all perfect for 'Eric Smith'. Hostas are best planted in deep, humus-rich soil.
