Helictotrichon sempervirens
Height x Spread: 60cm x 40cm
Commonly known as blue oat grass, this ornamental tufted grass produces airy attractive seedheads on tall straw-like stems in summer. Blue/grey erect evergreen foliage is the main attraction of this plant.
Perfect at providing colour all year round however it does need full sun and well-drained soils otherwise the plant will rot-off. Fantastic for providing architectural prowess throughout the year. It can be used for coastal locations and as a middle of the border plant.
