Description

Height x Spread: 120cm x 50cm

Tall, deep purple black flower spikes emerge from tuft-like clumps of narrow upright foliage and gently fade to yellow-orange in autumn. An added bonus is that it remains upright over winter and looks wonderful frosted.

Perfect for a border, gravel garden, architectural or prairie planting - it suits so many styles. Remove faded stems and foliage in late winter, before new foliage appears. Its grows well in any fairly rich soil with drainage and some moisture in full sun or light shade.
