The newest member of the Hardy's Gang is BOVRIL A.K.A. 'Terriyaki'. A 16 month old Patterdale/German Hunt (JAGD) Terrier cross, he is far too cute for his own good, but luckily he does not realise it yet. Georgia and her husband George were part of the puppy collection party for BOVRIL's sister ROO, who lives with another family member, and somehow BOVRIL joined the family ship, must have been something to do with those eyes. Love at First Sight.

Living with a pack of labradors means BOV' has moments when he is pure Lab (eats everything) and despite his little legs is super fast, keeping up with the gang. He also thinks he's the boss. BAGEL soon puts him right and he has now relocated to the headrest of an armchair leaving BAGEL to enjoy the padded seat.

As you would expect from any dog of Georgia's he is learning to do many jobs from canine hot water bottle and winter neck warmer to broom monitor and supervisor. While the labs are on holiday following the end of the shooting season, BOVRIL is now becoming a proper ratter. Work in progress but he definitely shows promise.

Favourite Job? Being George's 'Tractor Dog' - i.e. sharing the cab with him. Sitting high above the fields he has the best view ever but absolutely no access to the pheasants that he spies. Ha!!

Worst habit? Complete lack of poker face, he is far too pleased to see everyone and everything, bouncing around like he is on springs. As I say very cute. Oh, did we mention he is an escape artist?

Favourite Food? Haribo Coca-Cola bottles when he can steal them. Oh and SAUSAGE

Least Favourite Plant? Nettles - when he was a puppy he had to be carried aloft when wading through them. Georgia's very pleased that his fur is much thicker now.

Most Surprising Thing Ever? Snow - LOVE IT! At least it makes it easier to spy him
