This handsome fellow is COOPER, a supersoft (fur and personality) Cockapoo who recently turned 4 and has a penchant for smart party hats. He comes to work with his human Natasha, who joined Hardy’s back in July 2020 as Rosy and Rob’s secretary. A dog with quite a few aliases (Bubba and Coops to name just two) he was actually called after Natasha’s Mini Cooper, which he stylishly slides into at the end of the day. I think you will agree that he just needs some goggles to complete the look.

Not exactly as ‘Mad as a March Hare’ he does have a few quirks or rituals such as running around the house avoiding his lead before going out for a walk, hiding behind people and furniture, when ACTUALLY HE IS SOOO EXCITED he is fit to burst. He also has a dislike for people in high viz jackets but perhaps that is more understandable.

We caught up with him to find out more…

As newest boy on the block what do you think of Hardy’s? ‘Love it, I get so excited before we come to work I just have to bark at a high pitch. I find it’s a sure fire way of being put in the car’

What’s your daily routine? ‘Well I am currently training Rob to give me tickles on demand, he’s not doing badly for a beginner. Rosy’s being phased in for dog walks but won’t let me off the lead – work in progress’

Inside or Outside? ‘Bit of both really. There’s a lot of the nursery that I haven’t seen yet but I am working on it undercover. Could definitely do without the shredder in the office though, it drives me mad.’

New Kittens – for or against? ‘Kittens, what kittens? Oh the entertainment you mean? Up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs always sauntering past my window, they are proper cheeky. Would love to ‘train them’ too…’

Favourite walk? ‘You cannot beat a walk off lead with a ball in a country park – COMPLETE BLISS’

Favourite food? ‘Milk and cheese, plus roast chicken on a Sunday, YUM!!!’

Worst habit? ‘I may have enjoyed the odd nibble of the carpet in the past but snuggling down on the beds is more comfortable and slimming’

Favourite activity? ‘Binge watching Netflix on the sofa with mum. Did you see Bridgerton?’
