Pot Size

Height x Spread 80cm x 50cm

Originally bred in America ‘Chocoholic’ produces noble pale pink flower spikes standing proud above its beautiful dark purple-coloured foliage. The flower spikes will perfume the evening air and attract pollinators of all sorts.

Like all ACTAEA this plant is a breath-taking architectural plant starting with the large dark leaves and then the spires of pale pink appear in late Summer and persist into early Autumn. This could be used in a free and loose style of planting to allow for this majestic plant to show itself off from all angles. Pairing with ferns really showcases the interest and texture from different leaf shapes and colour. You could also plant it alongside ANEMONE ‘Ruffled Swan’ PBR to keep the seasons going and being taller than ANEMONE ‘Ruffled Swan’ PBR it will produce a beautiful change in heights.  It thrives in a fertile, good soil i.e. moist but well drained in partial shade.

Harmful if ingested
