The foliage on this plant is much more divided than on other Alchemilla forms, with deep serrations, whilst the flowers are more yellow than green, contrasting well with the mid-green leaves.
A fine looking but tough ground covering plant, it makes a good choice for underplanting shrubs and roses too. As with all Alchemilla it mixes well with deep purples, blues and pinks. Try it with Tulipa 'Queen of the Night' and Iris sibirica, for a long flowering combination. It forms tidy clumps and will tolerate most growing conditions.
