Description

Height x Spread: 90cm x 45cm

Commonly known as the Drumstick Allium or Giant Chive, the flowers are elliptical in shape and appear from mid to late summer, following on from the main season varieties. The foliage is similar to that of chives and remains green until the end of flowering.

This Allium clumps up really quickly producing lots of new bulbs each year.  It is very reliable and ideal for the middle of the border in any soil.  It looks great combined with blue perennial Eryngium or feathery grasses such as Stipa tenuissima.
