Anemone flaccida
Height x Spread: 20cm x 40cm
A spring flowering beauty, used as ground cover under trees or shrubs in soils that are rich in organic matter or moisture retentive. The leaves appear with wonderful white to silver markings, which fade as it starts to flower. It is easy to lift and divide once it has finished flowering.
This is a summer dormant plant, often described as summer deciduous, which means it is only visible above ground in the spring, so remember where it is planted so you do not dig it up by mistake later in the year.
