Commonly known as Snowdrop Anemony or Wind Flower, this pretty flower opens from delicate hanging buds into pure white saucers with bright yellow stamens that look up to the sky.
They like deciduous shade and make large clumps flowering in late spring to early summer. Quicker to establish than other species of spring Anemone, it makes very pretty ground cover, happily disguising faded spring bulb foliage. They are able to cope with some dryness to the soil, as long as there is a good organic matter content.
