Description
Aquilegia chrysantha ' Yellow Queen'
Height x Spread: 75cm x 45cm
This is a spectacular columbine with flowers in tones of soft yellow and long narrow spurs to the back of the flower. From late spring to early summer the flowers are held on tall, strong stems above the foliage, which has a hint of blue to it.
A popular plant on many of our RHS Chelsea Flower Show displays, its form and colour always draw the eye and helps highlight other plants. Plant these beauties in a semi shaded position in a fertile soil, as they are really woodland plants.
