Specially selected for the nursery by Rosy Hardy for its tolerance of diverse situations even dry shade, this elegant Michaelmas daisy rightly deserves attention for its attractive large blue single flowers, each studded with a yellow centre.
Deftly answering one of the most frequent requests by customers at the nursery for good flower colour in shade, it is also tough and hardy (hailing from the Himalayas), easy to grow and bee friendly. What's not to like? It prefers a sunny to partially shaded site in reasonable soil but can tolerate drier soils.
