Pot Size

Height x Spread:  90cm x 60cm

As it name suggests 'Exaltata' is the more flamboyant cousin of Baptisia australis, producing tall stately spikes of darker blue Lupin-like flowers over fresh blue-green foliage.

Perfect for the middle to back of a border, where its gorgeous blue colour will really draw the eye, it mixes brilliantly with strong jewel colours, plus makes cool combinations with whites.  Striking dark green seedpods develop after flowering.  Do not be tempted to take your snips to them at the end of the season as they really add interest to your garden over winter.  It prefers a fairly fertile free-draining soil in sun.
