This little plant produces elegant double white flowers during spring held over dark green, deeply cut basal rosettes. This is a white double form of the British wildflower we commonly know as Cuckoo Flower or Lady's Smock.
Best when planted in a moist soil in either sun or partial shade, it would naturally be found growing in damp meadows which makes it the perfect subject for naturalising in an area of damp grassland. A wonderful plant for a cottage garden or an informal border.
