Description
Chrysosplenium macrophyllum
Height x Spread: 25cm x 60cm
This unusual woodland perennial originating from China, has a creeping stoloniferous habit. During late winter and early spring white-green bracts and creamy inflorescences appear, which have prominent pink stamens. Beneath the bracts are thick leathery semi-evergreen leaves.
It is perfect for ground cover in moisture-retentive or moist but well-drained soil in shade or partial shade.
