Chicory.

This plant is commonly known as White Chicory due to its elegant white flower blooms which it bears on tall stems during summer. The flower stems arise from basal rosettes of toothed lance-shaped leaves.

Chicory thrives in full sun and poor quality soils making it the perfect choice for areas which suffer periods of drought. It would grow very happily in a  south facing border. Chicory is a fantastic architectural plant and is very popular with pollinators.
