Clematis Yuan ('Evipo082'^PBR) (Boulevard Series)

The saucer-sized blooms of this 'Boulevard Series' Clematis are really rather special, with delicate sugar mouse pink pointed petals each boldly marked with a central rich pink brushstroke set off by a fringed purple eye.  Bred to produce flowers in succession along the whole length of their stems from the base upwards, their striking display lasts from late spring into autumn, highlighted by fresh green foliage.

Perfect for a planter on a terrace, they make an unusual but interesting choice for a hanging basket or cloaking a small structure in a mixed border.  They thrive in moist, free draining soil and a partially shaded spot, but can tolerate more sun if their roots are kept cool and they are watered more frequently.  To encourage good growth in the summer, cut back all stems to 25cm above the ground in late spring.
