Description

Geranium 'Coombland White'

Height x Spread:  20cm x 30cm

'Coombland White' is a rather lovely recently introduced Geranium with delicate palest pink single flowers, each highlighted with deeper pink veining and stamens, that gently bob above mounds of marbled fresh green leaves.  Appearing successively from mid-summer onward, the flowers slowly fade to white and can last into autumn when the leaves become bronzed.

With its tendency to mound and spread, it makes a great choice for edging a path or raised bed, where it will gently tumble over the side.  Or employ it as attractive groundcover as its delicacy belies its toughness, suppressing weeds as it grows.  Semi-evergreen and low maintenance, it needs a free draining soil in either full sun or part shade to thrive.  Ideal too for coastal situations and gardens planted to attract bees and other pollinators.
