Crambe cordifolia

Commonly known as Sea Kale, this clump-forming perennial has deep green lobed foliage. Huge sprays of gypsophila-like, petite white flowers appear during the summer.

Crambe cordifolia loves a sunny site with a well-drained soil. It is an imposing perennial and requires a large amount of space, it's statuesque flower stems add an architectural element to the garden. The leaves have a tendency to look rather scruffy as the season progresses, by planting it towards the back of your borders you can hide the lower leaves with other plants.
