Description
Dianthus arenarius 'Little Maiden'
Height x Spread: 10cm x 20cm
'Little Maiden' is a highly scented, dwarf pink that produces a fireworks display of very frilly, pure white single flowers, over neat domed blue-green foliage from late summer into autumn.
Their visual delicacy belies their toughness and ease of maintenance. Very hardy, they are ideal for a rockery or scree garden but would also make a stunning addition to a green roof. Attractive to bees and butterflies, they are said to be deer resistant. This evergreen perennial will appreciate a full sun position in a well-drained alkaline to neutral soil.
