Dianthus armeria is commonly known as Deptford Pink. This biennial produces clusters of dark pink singular flowers on long stems during the summer. Dept ford Pink's narrow foliage is dark green in colour.

Great to use in a wildflower area where it can freely self-seed. Since 1930 Dianthus armeria has been in decline in the wild. It thrives in well-drained soils in a sunny site.
