The daisy flowers on this species of Echinacea have petals that flick back from the cone, giving it the look of a shuttlecock. It is a good mid summer flowering variety that likes a sunny position in a fertile but free draining soil. The soft pink flowers are set off well against the dark cone centre.
It is very good plant to put in the mixed border or with grass-like plants, and attracts bees and butterflies in abundance.
