Erigeron karvinskianus

This has to be one of the most useful sun loving perennials available for the garden, with its little pink and white daisy flowers. It will tolerate really poor soils and has an incredibly long flowering period, often right into late autumn.

It is as happy in a container as in the border, used either as an edging plant or ground cover under shrubs or roses in the sun. It can seed around but seedlings are easily dispatched if not required.
