Description

Geum Fiery Tempest ('Macgeu005') (Tempest Series)

Height x Spread: 50cm x 40cm

A semi-evergreen, rhizomatous perennial, Geum Fiery Tempest is an adaptable plant with long green serrated leaves. The vivid red/orange, semi-double flowers are produced on tall stems from April to September and are attractive to pollinators. Remove old stems to prolong flowering and divide every few years to avoid congestion.

Happy in sun or partial shade in any pH, this plant is best in free draining but moist, humus rich soil. Good for informal, cottage and wildlife gardens as well medium to large containers. It is hardy in UK winters, as long as waterlogged soil is avoided.
