Galanthus woronowii

Height x Spread: 15cm x 25cm

This snowdrop bears large, single, white, gently nodding flowers with an inner skirt of green-tipped white segments, on short stems above bright green, shiny, strap-like foliage.

Its native habitats range from low altitude grassy areas and fields, plus deciduous and coniferous woodlands, to rocky screes and gorges at high altitude. Its ability to adapt means it can grow happily in more sun at the front of a bed or along a path, as well as in shadier areas. Great for naturalising in more challenging areas of the garden, it will grow in sun or partial shade in any moist but well drained soil that is humus rich.

Harmful if eaten

Available for Mail Order from January - March

Please note - These Snowdrops are propagated and grown on-site at Hardy's , they have not been collected from the wild.
