Kniphofia 'Green Jade'
Height x Spread: 150cm x 100cm.
This is a medium sized form of this drought tolerant plant with mid green strap like foliage and pale green flowers fading to white in late summer.
Place it in full sun and humus rich, fertile soil that drains freely. It will form a sturdy clump that needs very little attention once established. Pollinator friendly, the flowers are held above the foliage on strong, straight stems and it should never need to be staked. The foliage is constantly renewed from the centre of the clump so old faded leaves can be gently removed at the base to keep the plant tidy.
