'Pensham Victoria Plum' was bred by Edward Wilson of Pershore Plant Raisers and named after his daughter. This gorgeous Penstemon has sublime purple flowers with a stunning white throat with burgundy markings throughout the summer. It's a clump-forming perennial which has semi-evergreen lance-shaped narrow green foliage.
A fantastic plant for bees and other pollinators. Keep deadheading this plant as the flowers fade to encourage more flowers to develop. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before the winter. In spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. Happy to grow in any fertile, moisture retentive, free-draining soil, in sun or partial shade.
