Commonly known as Giant Inula, this plant has large green ovate leaves which are covered in a dusting of hairs. An upright perennial it has tall purple-green stems which reach dizzying heights and bear large saffron-yellow daisies at their tops during the summer.
Ideal for partially shaded areas where Giant Inula really lifts the gloom, it thrives in moist and boggy soils. Inula magnifica can be lifted and divided during spring or autumn.
