Commonly known as Orris, this vigorously growing rhizomatous perennial has grey-green sword-shaped leaves which provide a fantastic background to the pale purple blooms with their yellow beards, at the beginning of summer .
South-facing borders are desirable as these Bearded Iris thrive in full sun. Orris is perfect for well-drained flower beds and borders.
