Campanula lactiflora 'Assendon Pearl'
Height x Spread: 100cm x 60cm
A beautiful white form of C. lactiflora or Milky Bellflower as it is commonly known. Violet-flushed buds open into star-like white bellflowers held atop tall, branching stems, from midsummer through to autumn.
This Campanula grows best in fertile, moist but free draining soil which has a neutral to alkaline pH. When planting this popular cottage garden perennial in your borders ensure that you pick a spot in partial shade. Apply a layer of mulch to keep plants both moist in summer and well fed. In exposed areas plants should be staked.
