Description

Height x Spread: 90cm x 60cm

Commonly known as Bleeding Heart this perennial was previously named Dicentra rather than Lamprocapnos. Pure white heart-shaped flowers are held on arching stems above divided light-green foliage, during late spring.

Often used for under-planting trees and shrubs in beds and borders. 'Alba' requires a humus-rich soil in partial shade in order to thrive.

All parts of this plant are toxic.
